Who I am
Hi, friends. I’m Sheri.
My life is a richly woven collage of eclectic experiences that are blended together with passion, empathy, and a huge dose of heart.
Mother, partner, farmher, crisis counselor, homeschool teacher, breastfeeding counselor, fiber art business owner, and domestic goddess have all been important roles in my life. Wrapped up in those experiences are layers of nuance including identifying as an infertile woman for most of my adult life and my ever evolving experience with religion and spirituality.
My family is a vibrant mix of neurodiversity, beautifully united through both biology and adoption. They enrich my life and shape who I am, and have formed the foundation of my own unique perspective of the world. I would not be who I am today without them and they are my constant reminder that connection is my foremost goal.
I come into the counseling space with an ability to listen deeply and create space for the most complex of emotions. Just like cattails live in the in-between, our work in the counseling room will make space for the grey areas and I will work hard to create the safe container you need to explore what comes up for you.
